Generally speaking, shaving different areas of a cat is a delicate matter… and we try to do it as rarely as possible, as their coat protects them from the elements. Our preference is to clipper cats only when necessary (for example, because of knots, or for the health of the cat), as the process has certain risks and can damage the coat.
